Flood-O
This is one of the rites of spring. The event is a first but relatively easy test for experienced orienteers, where they race against the clock in a familiar park, as well as a great introduction for newcomers on a safe map with lots of variety.
Meet type
Point to point (Visit controls in numerical sequence).Go solo or in a team.
Courses
- Beginner (2km): The controls will be located along trails and off the trails.
- Intermediate (3.5km): Controls will be located mostly off the trails.
- Advance (5.5km): Physically challenging.
Terrain
Park with a complex trail network and an un-crossable creek with 6 bridges. Good visibility in the woods. Usually wet in the spring with possible snow in the woods.

Fees will be collected at the meet site or by Interac e-Transfer® to: hm@orienteeringnb.ca

Registration
Pre-registration is requested by April 27, 2022 to guarantee a map. Walk in registration on the day of the event will be allowed but there will be a limited number of spare maps.To register contact Harold McQuade at hm@orienteeringnb.ca

- SportIdent serial number (if available). Electronic timing equipment will be used. If you do not have a SportIdent unit it will be provided at no cost (if lost a $50 charge will apply).
The following forms are required. The forms are available for downloading from the ONB web site. The forms can be emailed to the event organizer or brought to the onsite registration.

- Waiver (for each Adult) (once a year)
- Assumption of Risk (for each minor) (once a year)

Registration from 11:00 – 11:45am, in the main parking lot in front of MacNaughton High School.

Directions
Bernice MacNaughton High School, 999 St. George Blvd. The entrance to Bernice MacNaughton High School (BMHS) is at the street lights next to the Wesleyan Church parking lot. Drive to the BMHS main parking lot and look for the ORIENTEERING banner.
Flood-O
C'est l'un des rites du printemps. L'épreuve
est un premier essai, mais relativement facile pour les orienteurs expériences,
où ils courent contre la montre dans un parc familier, ainsi qu'une excellente
introduction pour les nouveaux aux sport sur une carte sûre avec beaucoup de
variété.
Type de rencontre
Point à point (Visite les contrôles dans l'ordre numérique)
Cours
1) Débutant (2km): Les contrôles seront situés le long des sentiers et hors des sentiers.
2) Intermédiaire (3.5km): Les contrôles seront situés principalement hors des sentiers.
3) Avance (5.5km): Physiquement difficile.
Terrain
Parc avec réseau de sentiers complexes et un ruisseau infranchissable avec 6 ponts. Bonne visibilité dans les bois. Habituellement mouillé au printemps avec de la neige possible dans les bois.

Enregistrement

Les formulaires suivants sont requis. Les formulaires peuvent être téléchargés à partir du site Web d'ONB. Les formulaires peuvent être envoyés par courrier électronique à l'organisateur de l'événement ou apportés à l'inscription sur place.
- Formulaire d’inscription à une activité (pour chaque événement)
- Décharge de responsability, renonciation aux réclamations et rccord d’Indemnistration adulte (une fois par an)
- Accord de consentement ֖clairé et presomption de risqué n’ayant pas attaint l’âge de la majorité (une fois par an)
Enregistrement sur place
Inscription, 11h00 – 11h45, dans le stationnement principal de l'école secondaire MacNaughton. Recherchez la bannière “ORIENTEERING”.
